When you create a Rishtazone account you sign our community agreement and
promise to follow these guidelines. Breaking them can lead to your account being
permanently blocked — every acceptance is recorded, so "I didn't know"
is never a defence.
1. Treat everyone with respect
- Be polite and courteous, exactly as you would be when meeting a family for rishta in person.
- No insults, harassment, threats, hate speech, or sectarian, ethnic or caste-based abuse.
- A polite "no, thank you" — or simply moving on — is always acceptable. Pressuring someone who has declined is not.
2. Be honest
- Be truthful about your marital status — single, divorced or widowed — and keep it up to date.
- Your age, education, profession, location and photos must be genuine and recent.
- If you manage a profile for a family member, say so clearly and have their consent.
3. One real identity
- One account per person — no duplicate, fake or impersonation accounts.
- Photos must be of the person the profile is for. No celebrities, stock photos or AI-generated faces.
4. Marriage intent only
- Rishtazone is for people genuinely seeking marriage. It is not for casual dating, friendship-only contact, or commercial activity.
- No advertising, promotion, recruitment or selling of any kind.
5. Keep chat clean and safe
- No obscene, sexual or vulgar messages or photos. Ever.
- Never ask another member for money, gifts, financial help or documents — and never send money to someone you met here. Report anyone who asks.
- No spam, repeated unwanted messages, or links to other services.
6. Respect privacy
- Do not share another member's photos, phone number, chats or any personal details outside the app without their clear permission.
- Do not screenshot or republish profiles or conversations.
7. Adults only
- Every member and every profile subject must be 18 years or older.
- Any account involving a minor is removed immediately and may be reported to the authorities. See our Child Safety Standards.
8. Meet safely
- Involve your family early — that is what Rishtazone is built for.
- First meetings should be in a public place, ideally with family members present.
- Verify independently before making any commitments. We verify profiles, but you should still do your own checks before marriage decisions.
9. Report, and we act
- Report any member who breaks these rules directly from your chat with them, or via Menu → Help & Support.
- Our moderation team reviews every report. Depending on severity we warn, restrict or permanently block the account. Serious matters are escalated to law enforcement.
These guidelines exist so every member — and every family — can use
Rishtazone with confidence. Thank you for helping us keep it that way.
