These terms are an agreement between you and Rishtazone ("we", "us") governing your use of the Rishtazone app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account you accept these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Behaviour Guidelines.
1. What Rishtazone is
Rishtazone is a matrimonial introduction service. We help adults — and families acting on their behalf, with their consent — discover, contact and get to know potential marriage partners. We are an introduction platform only: we are not a marriage bureau, we do not arrange marriages, and we make no promise that you will find a match.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old, and every person a profile is created for must be at least 18.
- You must be legally able to marry under the laws that apply to you.
- You must not have been previously banned from the Service.
3. Your account
- Keep your login credentials private; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- All information you provide must be true, accurate and kept up to date.
- On joining, you must accept our community agreement ("I promise to…"). Your acceptance is recorded with date, time and device details and forms part of these terms.
4. Community rules
The Behaviour Guidelines are part of these terms. We may warn, restrict, suspend or permanently block any account that breaks them — including removing profiles from view and disabling chat — with or without prior notice, depending on severity. Members who are blocked are not entitled to any refund.
5. Your content
- You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload.
- You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, process and display that content to other members for the purpose of operating the Service.
- You must have the right to share any content you upload — including the consent of any family member whose profile you manage.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
6. Premium subscriptions
- Some features (such as unlimited chat) require a paid Premium subscription.
- Payment is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Refunds are handled according to the store's refund policies.
7. Safety
We verify profiles and moderate reported content, but we cannot guarantee any member's identity, intentions or conduct. Rishtazone only connects members for chat and is not responsible for any loss or scam — staying safe and verifying the authenticity of anyone you talk to is your own responsibility. Always exercise your own judgement: involve your family, meet in public, and never send money to anyone you meet on the Service.
8. Termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (how to delete).
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, harm other members, or abuse the Service.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the conduct of any member on or off the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
